CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Treveri. Circa 60-30/25 BC. Stater (Electrum, 19 mm, 5.46 g, 12 h), Pottina. Devolved and disjointed male head to right with three stars above, eye in the form of a wheel with three stars before. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to left, horseman transformed into V-shaped figure within heart-shaped ornament; below, star above POTTINA within linear frame. DT 600. Flesche 247. LT 8825. SLM -. Rare and with a particularly attractive obverse. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, good very fine.
